Consultation

We start with a detailed consultation, walking your property to identify the best discharge locations, such as along property lines or near city storm drains. Measurements are taken for the discharge drain line, and we discuss options tailored to your property’s needs.

Installation

Trenches are dug by hand to preserve your existing sod, which is reinstalled after the project is complete. Trenches are typically 8-12” deep and 6” wide to fit 4” drain pipes. Pop-up emitters or grate caps are added to prevent debris and critters from entering the drainage system. After backfilling and grading the area, we leave your yard clean and functional.

Materials Used

Corrugated Drain Tile: Affordable but less durable, suitable for basic installations.
PVC Drain Pipe: Long-lasting and ideal for installations under hardscaping or in areas with burrowing animals.

As a construction professional, I often seek three bids/proposals and then choose the contractor who I feel will be the best partner, which is usually not the person with the lowest price. That was the case with the landscaping on our new home build: Bright Green was not the lowest price BUT I truly feel they provided the best value and I could not be more pleased with the results. Their level of care, communication, professionalism exceeded my expectations (which I have to admit are high). Their entire team, from the field workers, foreman, in-house team, to the owner himself, were always very polite and followed through on their commitments.
